Plot[]
Train Heartnet is washing his face when Eve knocks on the door. She gives him a gift as a thank you for helping Sven change his mind about Eve accompanying them. Train thanks her for the gift, but then Eve states that they are still rivals and leaves. Train is confused, then opens the gift, which turns out to be dried fish cake.
Outside, Sven Vollfied and Annette are talking. Annette asks Sven if it is true that Number I came to visit them. Sven confirms this and says that she wanted the two sweepers to know about the bounty on Creed Diskenth's head. When Annette asks about Train's reaction, the man tells her that Train did not fall for Sephiria's bait, but Sven thinks that it is troubling his partner. Annette asks what Sven will do if Train decides to fight the Apostles. Sven says he does not know.
Kyoko Kirisaki and Leon Elliot are shopping when Charden Flamberg approaches and informs them that Shiki has summoned them. Kyoko asks if it is about another mission, but Charden tells her no.
At the Apostles' hideout, Shiki demands an explanation from Durham Glaster for disappearing for a week without any word to his comrades. The gunman angrily states that he leaves when he wants to. Creed disagrees, stating that an explanation is in order. Durham tells the swordsman that he fought Train and Creed, from Durham's bruised face, deduces that the gunman had lost. He asks Durham if he now believes everything Creed had said about Train, that the former Number is one of the greatest fighters in the world and that one day, he will lead this world as a member of the Apostles of the Stars. Durham claims that the only reason he lost was because he got careless and vows to challenge the sweeper again and tear him to shreds. Creed kills him.
