Two Thoughts is the one hundred and fifty-first chapter of the Black Cat manga and the second chapter of Volume 17.
Plot[]
With his point proven, Train Heartnet asks Shiki what he will do now, but even the Taoist does not know himself. He reveals that up until this moment, he had dedicated his whole life to prove that Tao is the strongest force on Earth, but now that this was proven false, he does not know what to do with his life. Train scolds him for thinking like this and tells him that he can still carry on his life without entirely forgetting the past. Shiki thinks on this. Train checks on River, who assures him that he is alright. Shiki then tells them that they will find Creed Diskenth in the 4th floor in the main house. Shiki has no reason to care about Creed, who betrayed his cause and turned to science and warns Train that he will regret wasting the Rail Gun, but Train does not think so, before going off with River to the main house.
Eve and Kevin McDougall reach Creed's mansion. Kevin asks the girl if she will be strong enough to take on an Apostle. She reveals that she is not at all that strong and that she only defeated Leon Elliot because her plan was to send him into a frenzy. She then tells him about her past, how she was a killer, then a sweeper to atone herself. Kevin understands, but tells her not to be reckless, before dashing towards the mansion. A foot kicks him in the face and knocks him down. It turns out that it was Train, who had thought that Kevin was another henchman, but then realizes that that is not the case once he sees Eve.
