Disk Operation is the one hundred and twenty-fifth chapter of the Black Cat manga and the third chapter of Volume 14.
Plot[]
After giving them disks, Glin asks if they have any questions. River Zastory asks if he will have to split the reward, to which Glin replies yes and that will depend on the number of teams. With that, they depart with hope they will meet again in ten days.
Back at their hotel, Train Heartnet and Eve try and fail to reach Sven Vollfied, so they try to figure out things themselves. Eve asks Train if he really plans on joining the alliance and what would he do if another sweeper captured Creed Diskenth, as capturing the criminal is his way of getting closure. Train assures her that he is the only sweeper who can capture Creed.
They go to an internet shop to activiate the disk, but it does not work. River arrives and tells them that it is a game disk, meaning that it needs a game box to open. He reveals that be needs Train in the alliance to avenge himself and challenges Train to a new battle: The sweeper who captures Creed first wins. Train agrees.
They buy a game box and activiate the disk. A tiny image of Glin appears and tells them the rules: There are five levels the player must pass if they want to know the location of the meeting. Before each level, a slot machine will determined out of 50 games what kind of game the player gets. The player has five tries and after that, the disk will self-destruct. Train and Eve get a first-person shooter game.
